| Road questions | | 3:09pm Tuesday 22nd April 2008 | | Sir - Having read the Options Report, the Transport Analysis Guidance (TAG) Report, and the Traffic Modelling Forecast Report, issued by Oxfordshire County Council, these documents have been written, in my opinion, to show a bias to the Cogges Link Road when compared to the Shores Green option. Examples of bias in the papers, so far made available, are: (a) TAG report para 2.5.4 which states SG (Shores Green) would cause a slight adverse effect on . . . a relatively tranquil parcel of land' - tranquil, just yards from the A40?; (b) TAG report para 2.11.3: comments on the Local Plan Strategy are, again in my opinion, incorrect bearing in mind the comments of the Local Plan Inspector. | | Reader comment (1) |
